Job Summary
Develop student-specific behavior plans and curricula to decrease challenging behaviors and teach new skills for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Monitor student progress by creating data sheets, graphing data, and modifying programs based on evidence. Conduct assessments, including home assessments and Functional Behavioral Assessments, to determine appropriate behavioral interventions. Provide regular supervision through observation and feedback to SSIs in both school and home settings. Consult regularly with special educators, administrators, and parents while co-observing students and assisting in IEP and progress report development.
