Job Summary
Conduct direct services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related behavioral challenges while modeling ABA strategies and consulting with staff. Evaluate students for services using tools like VB MAPP and FBA, then develop individualized IEP goals and positive support plans. Oversee data collection mechanisms, analyze progress, and present evidence of student achievement in special education meetings. Define target behaviors, design social skills curricula, and perform home consults to ensure programming consistency. Maintain required documentation for Medicaid reimbursement and complete job-related functions in a timely manner. Work within the school setting with occasional home/school facilitation, reporting to the Special Education Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- State certified or certifiable as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience with delivering school-based services to school-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, PreK-12
- Complete required service documentation and School-Based Medicaid submissions
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Safety Care Training Certification or willing to be certified
- Current authorization to work in the United States required
