Job Summary
BCBA position within the district's Special Services team to support student social and emotional growth and the instructional program. Requires a New Jersey teaching certificate and evidence of coursework toward BCBA certification; involves collaboration with students, staff, parents, and administrators, and requires knowledge of New Jersey special education laws, record-keeping, planning, and problem-solving skills, plus successful criminal history clearance and eligibility for employment. Reporting to the Director of Special Services and aligned with negotiated salary terms per BHBOE/BHEA. EEO/AA.
Required Qualifications
- Holds valid New Jersey teaching certificate
- Evidence of coursework toward the acquisition of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate
- Demonstrates knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education in New Jersey
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- Alternative qualifications as approved by the Board
