Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior support plans and provide direct 1:1 support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes, natural homes, workplaces, and community environments. Teach replacement skills and adaptive behaviors while assisting in reducing maladaptive behaviors using ethical, evidence-based practices. Collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition, maintaining detailed documentation and summarizing reports for the supervising BCBA. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assist in training staff on interventions, and participate in treatment planning discussions. Complete supervised fieldwork hours and engage in ongoing training and development in ABA practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree with enrollment or intent to enroll in a Master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
- Enrollment in, or intent to enroll in, a Master's program in ABA
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be clean of all illegal substances and marijuana
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, such as office supplies or files
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and board members
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity during a standard workday
