Job Summary
Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy. Diagnose malfunctions, communicate with the parts department, and document all work performed. Supervise apprentice technicians, road-test vehicles when required, and ensure the shop area remains clean and organized. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins, attend training classes, and follow all safety policies and hazardous waste regulations. Notify the service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within promised times or if additional work is needed.
Required Qualifications
- ASE or manufacturing training
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Manual dexterity
- Good Judgment
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license
- High CSI is a must
