BMT Leukemia Resource Coordinator I

Job Summary
Coordinate patient care activities within the Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Programs by collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Serve as an educator, resource person, researcher, and indirect patient care provider for adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients. Manage consistent care workflows using proficiency in database, spreadsheet, and wordprocessing software while interpreting clinical and business information. Requires a bachelor's degree, two years of healthcare operations experience, and knowledge of insurance regulations. No weekend or on-call requirements. Work 8:30am-5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university
- two (2) years experience in health care/health care clinic operations
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- ability to understand, analyze and interpret statistical, clinical, and business information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in database, spreadsheet, and wordprocessing software utilization
- Knowledge of health care and insurance related regulations/procedures
- Work Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Weekend Requirements: No
- On-Call Requirements: No
