Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and networked control system issues in building management systems across commercial and mission-critical environments. Independently troubleshoot, service, and commission BMS systems by executing tickets from assignment through full resolution within SLA timelines, performing upgrades, backups, and configuration changes. Install and configure control components while reading drawings to identify and implement solutions. Maintain 100% documentation accuracy and ensure full compliance with site safety protocols during field work involving climbing, confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires on-call rotation, emergency response, and 90% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of BMS, building automation, or HVAC controls experience
- Proficiency with Tridium Niagara (N4) or equivalent controls systems
- Strong troubleshooting capability across control systems (hardware, software, and networked systems)
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in mechanical spaces
- Must be able to lift tools and equipment (up to ~50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in confined or high-access environments as needed
- Must be available for standard work hours with on-call rotation and emergency response requirements
- Must be willing to travel 90% based on service and project needs
