BMS Service Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead daily activities of BMS Service Technicians across assigned service projects and customer sites, coordinating technician scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation to support service commitments. Monitor service progress to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards while supporting execution of service projects, repairs, commissioning activities, and corrective actions. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for technicians on complex controls issues, performing advanced troubleshooting of BMS hardware, software, controllers, integrations, and networks when required. Maintain service schedules, work-order status, documentation, and project reporting, supporting forecasting, labor planning, and budget tracking for assigned service work. Partner with the Construction Manager on escalated customer concerns and service recovery efforts, ensuring customers receive timely communication regarding service progress and issue resolution. Coach, develop, and support BMS Service Technicians through field leadership, training, and mentorship while reinforcing quality, safety, and documentation standards across all service activities.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of BMS, BAS, HVAC controls, or building automation experience
- 1–3 years leading technicians, crews, or field service operations
- Experience creating and upholding Method of Procedures (MOPs) to manage projects
- Experience coordinating service projects, work orders, schedules, and field resources
- Advanced troubleshooting capability across controls systems, networks, and integrations
- Experience working in data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or similar environments
- Travel required based on project portfolio
