BMS Service Project Manager

Job Summary

Lead daily activities of BMS Service Technicians across assigned service projects and customer sites, coordinating technician scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation to support service commitments. Monitor service progress, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and escalate resource constraints or schedule risks to the Construction Manager. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex controls issues, support advanced troubleshooting of BMS hardware and networks, and review root-cause analysis for recurring system problems. Maintain service schedules, work-order status, and project reporting while supporting forecasting, labor planning, and budget tracking for assigned service work. Coach and develop BMS Service Technicians through field leadership, training, and mentorship to reinforce quality, safety, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of BMS, BAS, HVAC controls, or building automation experience
  • 1–3 years leading technicians, crews, or field service operations
  • Experience creating and upholding Method of Procedures (MOPs) to manage projects
  • Experience coordinating service projects, work orders, schedules, and field resources
  • Advanced troubleshooting capability across controls systems, networks, and integrations
  • Experience working in data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or similar environments
  • Travel required based on project portfolio
