BM Technician

BM Technician responsible for responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment. Duties include inspecting equipment, locating shut-offs, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with shifts. Skills include knowledge of air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems; ability to test, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment, install and program TV devices, and perform cleaning and housekeeping-related maintenance. Emphasis on safe work practices (Lockout/Tagout) and strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer usage. Requires physical ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders. Education: high school diploma or GED equivalent; experience in general maintenance and hotel engineering is a plus.
