Blue Zones Worksite Coordinator (26-27SY)- Communication and Marketing

Job Summary

Collaborate with the national Blue Zones team to lead implementation of customized district blueprints and school-based action plans. Develop relationships with community leaders to maximize engagement in Blue Zones activities and empower teams to adopt best practices. Maintain subject matter expertise on Blue Zones research to serve as a resource for well-being initiatives. Drive employee engagement plans, including facilitation of Purpose Workshops and organization of Moais (social support groups) within schools. Track monthly participation targets and compile performance measures to achieve annual certification goals. Lead the Blue Zones Steering Committee and Ambassador Network, providing training and recognition for school-based champions. Coordinate volunteer initiatives and assist in developing communications to highlight district progress. Maintain organized records of events and participants to ensure program continuity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • Ability to travel locally, using your own vehicle between campuses within the district
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance
  • 2 years' experience in health education, worksite health promotion, and/or wellness consulting
  • Ability to lift and transport items up to 20 pounds, such as event materials or equipment
  • Ability to drive personal vehicle to various worksites on a daily basis

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multi-sectoral partnerships
  • Strong facilitation skills
