Job Summary
Operate production machinery in accordance with specifications, inspect equipment prior to use for proper setup and alignment, and perform basic adjustments and maintenance. Monitor automated blow molding equipment, maintain supply of production materials, and conduct quality checks by reporting defects to shift Leadership and QA. Perform bottle testing procedures, enter data into the SPC collection center, and adjust machine processing as needed. Maintain logs of units produced and errors, keep the work area clean and safe, and adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations. No supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
- Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment
