Job Summary
Operate and maintain blow molding machines to produce high-quality products while performing mechanical troubleshooting to ensure efficient machine performance. Monitor production processes, adjust settings, and set up molds, then complete required paperwork for accurate production records. Inspect finished products for quality control and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This role requires a high school degree, two years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds in an indoor industrial setting. The position is located at our Alsip, Illinois facility, with a schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, and includes bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility operating blow molding machines or equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to go up and down stairs frequently
- Must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
- Must know how to use a variety of hand tools and precision measurement tools
- Must be able to complete required paperwork for accurate production
- Must be able to inspect finished products for quality control
- Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Must be able to operate and maintain blow molding machines
- Must be able to perform mechanical troubleshooting to ensure machines are running efficiently
- Must be able to monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
- Must be able to perform operator functions such as adjust machine settings and set up molds
