Blow Mold Operator - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Operate and optimize blow-molding equipment on 1st shift (6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Mon-Thu; Fridays/weekends based on business need) to safely produce high-quality containers. Perform start-ups from cold conditions, changeovers, quality checks, and routine troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain bottle/packaging specifications. Read and interpret PLC programs, adjust as needed to optimize performance, conduct daily equipment setups and bottle size changeovers, document changes accurately, and maintain production/quality records. Coordinate process operations with production and maintenance teams, stay current on process changes, and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with housekeeping standards. Required to stand up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear PPE. Strong emphasis on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement; flexible to overtime and shift changes as needed. High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year blow molding/injection molding experience; English communication required; Uniloy machine experience preferred; basic mechanical troubleshooting skills; ability to use basic hand tools; safety-conscious and collaborative mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating blow molding or injection molding equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including following written and verbal work instructions
- Experience with Uniloy machines preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement
