Blow Line Operator

Job Summary
Run the Blow Line department's three pieces of equipment in sequence: the PVC heater, Blow mold, and Finishing Saw. Perform daily machine inspections, set up and maintain equipment, and ensure all safety signoff forms are completed. Monitor product quality, approve initial runs with the Quality Manager, and communicate performance data to the Blow Line Lead. Maintain accurate production records, notify the Lead of consumable shortages, and remove full crate quantities of finished goods. Clean the work area daily and remove improperly stored tooling. Work 40+ hours per week in a hot environment, lifting up to 40 pounds while standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Knowledge of Blow Mold machines
- Ability to communicate at different levels within the organization
- Ability to lift product up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in a hot environment
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Work well under stress and pressure of a fast paced production environment
- Attention to detail
- Mathematical skills
- Able to work in a mechanical environment with hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to mount and dismount industrial equipment
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 100 lbs
- Ability to perform labor in extreme temperatures and temperature changes for long periods of time
- Must be flexible to work 40+ hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Some course work at a Technical School with a focus on industrial applications
- Manufacturing experience in a production/shop floor environment
- Blow Mold experience
