Job Summary
Phlebotomy-focused blood collection role within the American Red Cross leveraging healthcare and customer service skills to support donors and operate at donation sites. Responsibilities include greeting donors, collaborating with teammates to set up and tear down equipment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, transporting and preparing equipment, and delivering a positive donor experience. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills required
- A current, valid driver's license with good driving record required
- Physical requirements may include ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, good manual dexterity, ability to sit or stand for long periods, and adapt to long irregular hours
- Occasional vehicle operation may be required (minimum height 60 inches for vehicle operation)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience preferred (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) and leadership experience preferred
