Job Summary
Drive blood collection vehicles to transport required supplies, equipment, blood products and staff to and from mobile sites; load and unload trucks and other vehicles; connect with donors to foster a welcoming environment; assist with setting up and tearing down equipment at donation sites; adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure collected blood meets goals; paid phlebotomy training offered with opportunities to grow healthcare skills within a top humanitarian organization; schedule may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays with potential overnight travel; starting pay $27.03/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Physical ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods and adapt to long, irregular hours
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (basic computer skills)
