Job Summary
Architect and build next-generation blockchain-based applications for financial services institutions by designing, implementing, and refining smart contracts on EVM networks. Research and invent new smart contract paradigms while creating a unified component library for front-end applications. Write open-source TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python clients to enable direct user interaction with on-chain contracts. Ensure product stability through rigorous testing and best practices while writing and maintaining technical documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality applications. This role requires 4-5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building production-grade Solidity contracts, with a deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and gas optimization.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, and strong command of computer science fundamentals and software development
- 2+ years of experience building and releasing production-grade Solidity contracts
- A deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and gas optimization; prior experience deploying complex smart contract systems to the Ethereum main net
- Experience in writing code in Agile, CI/CD environments
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience of working on DeFi projects or protocols is a plus
- Experience with programming languages such as Python / Java / C++ / Rust is a plus
- Experience in building high-performance REST & WebSocket APIs is a plus
- Prior experience working with component libraries or design teams in user-facing applications is a plus
