Job Summary
The Block Valve Technician performs complete overhaul and testing of control valves, actuators, and positioners from various manufacturers including Fisher and Masoneilan. The role involves executing diagnostics and troubleshooting in both shop and field environments, ensuring that all diagnostic, testing, and repair reports comply with quality systems. The technician must adhere to safety standards, communicate directly with customers, and work autonomously in the valve repair process. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of diagnostic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Knowledge of HART Communicator or other diagnostic analyzer manufacturer required
