Job Summary
Facilitate educational classes and provide case coordination for pregnant women and families seeking parenting and prenatal care support. Teach life skills in English and Spanish using approved curriculum while co-facilitating lessons with bilingual specialists via in-person and Zoom sessions. Enroll eligible clients into the Texas Pregnancy Care Network system and bill for services provided. Maintain client electronic records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies, entering data accurately into the agency database. Prepare and submit administrative reports and documentation within deadlines while participating in quality reviews and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Two (2) years of experience in social services
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
- Knowledge of prenatal care
- Knowledge of child development
- Knowledge of attachment and bonding
- Knowledge of family dynamics
- Thorough knowledge of the Catholic Social Teachings
- Demonstrated knowledge of social work principles and ethics
- Demonstrated success in dealing with a variety of people, clients, and volunteers
- Knowledge of issues and problems faced by low-income individuals
- Knowledge of community resources available for low-income individuals
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work with online databases
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Successful applicant must comply with federal contractor vaccine mandate requirements
