Job Summary
Blending Operator responsible for loading, unloading, and blending of liquid products in a safe and efficient manner; controls quality and storage of liquids to and from tanks, railcars, and trucks; coordinates operational procedures, packaging, and supervision of bulk materials; leads and coordinates rework/disposition of damaged/non-conforming packaging components, manages packaging quarantine, monitors inventory, and assists with disposal; oversees temporary workers during large-scale dumping/rework of finished goods; ensures compliance with 6S safety standards and company procedures; requires High School diploma or GED, valid driver's license, forklift operator certification, and strong communication and problem-solving skills; proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be a certified forklift operator
- Proficient PC skills, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience leading and managing others
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers
- Ability to effectively handle group and individual work assignments
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of written instructions and ability to complete assignments efficiently
- Good judgment and decision making
