Job Summary
Blending Operator at Kar’s Nuts – Madison Heights, MI, responsible for assisting in creating blends/recipes for Kar’s Nuts and Second Nature products. Regular hours are 7:00am–3:00pm with overtime as needed; starting wage $16.00/hour. Duties include inspecting for food safety, rotating inventory to reduce spoilage, maintaining accurate counts, loading/unloading with Hi-Lo, operating Hi-Lo forklift, cleaning equipment, completing cleaning verification logs, collaborating with the team lead and supervisor to meet performance targets, and following GMP, Q&FS, and OSHA policies. Requires at least a high school diploma/GED, English proficiency, ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced indoor food-manufacturing environment. Preferred Hi-Lo operation capability and PPE usage as part of a safe work environment.
