Job Summary
Advanced blending and packaging operations, troubleshooting, and training responsibilities. Leads by example in adhering to SOPs and GMP/HACCP standards, coordinates with QC for sampling and testing, ensures batch consistency through precise weighing and ingredient verification, configures appropriate blenders based on order size and characteristics, maintains detailed production logs, and drives process improvement and safety initiatives in a fermentation production environment. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, independent decision-making, and ability to mentor Blending Operator I teammates.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating and troubleshooting blending, sampling, and packaging equipment in a production setting
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in a blending, fermentation, or production environment
- High school diploma required; relevant technical certifications or training programs are a plus
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience training and mentoring junior operators
- GMP and HACCP compliance; previous audit or quality assurance exposure is a plus
