Job Summary
Blending Operator role involving training across Blending Operator I (Material Handler) and II, with duties spanning material handling and blending—operating PIT equipment, organizing raw materials, pulling batches per work orders, and weighing/dispensing according to SOP. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, breaking down and cleaning blending machines, maintaining inventory, ensuring batch paperwork accuracy (material, lot numbers), inspecting materials and finished goods for quality, and documenting activities. This role requires collaboration within and outside the department, adherence to cGMP/SOP requirements, physical work at the Clackamas, OR location, and willingness to pass job-related tests and certifications for a quality environment. The position supports production goals and may require overtime; compensation includes base pay with swing-shift premium and adherence to safety and continuous improvement within a GMP setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 to 3 years of current warehouse material handling experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; use basic shop math skills, algebra, and basic computer skills
- 1 year of experience with ERP systems in some capacity preferred
- Hand truck, forklift, and other PIT equipment experience preferred
- Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred
- A legal right to work in the United States
