Blending Operator I - Night Shift (7:00PM - 7:00AM) $22.70/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential

Operate blending processes to combine raw materials into PVC compound per formulas. Read production schedules to evaluate upcoming blending and storage needs, and estimate material requirements to support extrusion. Adjust blender controls and hoses to ensure proper blending for daily inventory reporting. Safely operate forklifts to move materials to/from blender areas, ensuring correct quantities. Communicate with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing daily. Perform maintenance and cleanup of blending and storage areas. Assist with monthly raw material inventory and provide input for purchasing. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, extrusion experience or rapid learner, strong math, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
