Job Summary
Mix, blend, and cook raw ingredients while operating large volume kettles and mixers on a third shift. Verify solids, instrument calibration, and magnet inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to HACCP steps. Perform viscosity and sensory testing on batches, adjust multiple in-line processing equipment, and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery. Collaborate with QC, QA, and Maintenance teams to optimize production efficiency and maintain food safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs and chart recorders
- HACCP Certification preferred
