Job Summary
Blend finished fluid product in a chemical-plant environment, loading/unloading bulk chemicals from tanker trucks, iso containers, and railcars, and performing batch-related calculations to ensure correct material transfers. Execute precise weighing and addition of raw materials per batch instructions, assist with packaging, and operate a forklift while maintaining accurate batch records. Maintain safety and quality standards through LOTO, 6S/housekeeping, inspections, and routine preventive maintenance; monitor process data, respond to abnormalities, and perform SAP-related inventory and material transfer tasks. Demonstrate strong English communication, teamwork, safety focus, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) in East Hanover, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalence
- 4+ years chemical plant or similar experience handling chemicals in industrial environment
- Prior experience blending chemicals and bulk chemical handling preferred
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Clear and comprehensive communication in English (written/verbal)
- Basic mathematic and numeracy skills
- Qualified forklift operator
- Ability to work in a Team environment
- Committed to safety & organizational goals
- Self-motivated with good work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in hot, humid, noisy production area
- Willing to work 2nd Shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday thru Friday
