Job Summary
Hook up grease lines in the pit to correct tank per work orders and make transfer hose connections throughout mass transfer systems. Load/unload bulk shipments via railcar and truck, gauge tanks, and verify tank levels to support monitoring and housekeeping objectives. Fill out paperwork accurately, report spills or leaks, and collaborate with QA to investigate customer complaints and ensure product meets specifications. Work in non-climate-controlled environments, attend safety training events, and participate in daily tier meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or (GED)
- Minimum 12 continuous months in a manufacturing environment
- preferably experience blending product formulation, processing, and packaging
- Evidence of a consistent and dependable work history
- Ability to understand number series and calculate basic math functions
- Ability to correctly read scales and use measuring devices
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Ability to read and legibly write English
- Must be able to read and interpret standard gauges and instruments
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled working environment and extreme weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification a plus
- Yard Driver experience a plus
- Experience operating pumps and valves
