Job Summary
Coordinate with Operation Managers and supervisors to review job specifications and production schedules. Inspect blasted material before painting, then coat parts as instructed in work orders or per customer drawings. Load and hang parts for painting, mask components per instructions, and transfer finished painted parts inside the oven for curing. Monitor production by reviewing quality reports and prints to ensure prescribed quality standards are met. Perform quality checks during coatings applications, report equipment malfunctions, and maintain daily equipment cleaning. Uphold company safety and security guidelines while keeping department personnel informed of all safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Experience painting various blasted ID, OD, flat, and surfaces, such as: Valves, Flanges, equipment, etc.
- Must be experienced in proper mixing, following mixing ratios, & applying (3) coats EP2 Hempel epoxy and other paints
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Must be able to work Night Shift 5PM – 5AM. Monday – Friday
- Must have a courteous and positive attitude, also have a sense of urgency, drive, pride and desire to succeed
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
