Blaster Operator

Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision to blast bridges inside the blast booth, removing mill scale and preparing steel surfaces for paint. Perform operator maintenance on the booth and spray hose, then check all finished work for obvious defects prior to final inspection. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition while reading notes on drawings for project instructions. This role supports America's essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges, and stormwater management at Contech's Alexandria, MN plant.
