Job Summary
Blaster directs 120-140 PSI blast of abrasive-laden compressed air to remove scale/paint/rust from metal or hard surfaces on ships. Works in confined areas or pits with an air-fed respirator. Performs related tasks and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Required: SSPC C-7 Certification and a minimum of 3 years blasting experience. Education: high school education/equivalent preferred. Construction or manufacturing background preferred. Must be able to work all shifts and at heights; prove at least two years of continuous, stable employment. Equal opportunity employer.
