Blast Technical Lead

Lead technical blast design and protection engineering within AECOM’s Building Engineering Division. Provide expert input on blast and protection engineering, including CFD modelling of effects on building structures and complex structural analysis. Oversee project delivery, develop work plans, manage tasks, and ensure quality and technical assurance. Engage with clients to understand objectives and formulate solutions, collaborate with sector leads and Building Engineering teams, and contribute to business development and sales support. Perform risk and threat assessments, produce employer’s requirements and specifications, and manage projects, documentation, and reporting. Promote safety and knowledge sharing within the team, mentor colleagues, and support tender management and design reviews. Preferred qualifications include security/engineering discipline certifications and experience with AutoCAD/Revit. Hybrid working option available, with flexibility to work from an AECOM office, remote location, or client site in the UK.
