Blast Technical Lead

Lead blast protection design and CFD modelling for diverse building projects within AECOM’s Building Engineering Division. Provide expert technical input on blast and protection engineering, oversee production and workload management for blast-related projects, develop work plans, ensure quality management and technical assurance, and engage with clients, sector leads, and internal teams. Contribute to business development, perform threat assessments, produce employer’s requirements and specifications, develop concept and detailed designs, manage tendering, and support presentations and sales. Requires strong communication with senior stakeholders, solid project management capabilities, and the ability to hold or obtain Security Clearance. Preferred qualifications include professional certifications (RSES, CSyP, PSP, MSyl) and experience with AutoCAD and Revit. Hybrid working model available in UK offices (Manchester).
