Job Summary
Conduct abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and industrial spray painting for Australian Navy submarine sustainment projects. Perform specialist training for approximately 15 months at Pearl Harbour, Hawaii before returning to Perth for long-term employment. Maintain NV1 Defence Security Clearance and complete required medical and dental assessments. This permanent full-time role offers comprehensive relocation support and long-term career progression within the defence industry.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and industrial spray painting
- Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent trade qualification
- Willingness to relocate to Perth for ongoing employment
- Ability to successfully complete required medical and dental assessments
- An NV1 Defence Security Clearance
- Applicants must be Australian citizens eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance
