Job Summary
Blast Operator responsible for loading and unloading castings into the blast machine for cleaning, monitoring and adjusting controls per specifications, and completing daily reports. Includes inspecting equipment, maintaining safety practices, and performing related duties such as shoveling debris and possibly operating a forklift; shift is open to various hours. Requires knowledge of the blasting process and equipment, and a high school diploma or GED.
