Job Summary
Drill Operator responsible for safely performing construction or quarry drilling per the job program; operate hydraulic equipment, follow Safety Policies and Procedures, perform daily maintenance for safe operation, execute drill patterns as established by the Blaster Foreman, maximize drill supplies, inventory accessories, communicate issues to the Blasting Supervisor, complete drill reports and signed timecards, participate in safety and job-specific meetings, and meet physical requirements. Requires 5+ years of hydraulic equipment operating experience, valid CDL, construction experience, ability to lift 50-100 lbs, and successful completion of Driller I/II training; on-site role with opportunities for training and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience
- Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation
- Must have personal cell phone for communications
- One year experience in the construction industry
- Experience as a construction laborer
- Mechanical aptitude around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must successful complete background screening for ATF
