Job Summary
The Technical Process Operator in the Blanket Department controls, operates, and maintains high-speed bag making production equipment. Responsibilities include conducting changeovers, troubleshooting process and equipment problems, performing machine adjustments to affect quality, monitoring equipment conditions, performing quality checks, and managing production data. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of manufacturing experience, as well as the ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work a rotating shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- One year manufacturing experience
- Ability to understand instructions, work procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and distinctly (oral and written)
- Ability to perform effectively under stressful conditions
- Ability to tolerate sustained standing/walking up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for up to 7 consecutive days
- Ability to work occasional mandatory overtime shifts
