Job Summary
Pick up and deliver customer vehicles, tow heavy-duty trucks and trailers, and assist technicians with parts pickups and shop maintenance. Inspect the overall condition of the truck to ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation safety requirements, compile inspection reports detailing findings, and track all parts and materials used in repairs. Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers while ensuring the final work product meets quality standards. This 2nd shift role requires a Class A CDL with manual endorsement, hazmat, tankers, air brakes, doubles, and triples endorsements, plus mechanical aptitude for heavy-duty diesel maintenance.
