Job Summary

Receive, move, clean, inspect, tear down, repair, assemble, and closeout rotor blades in accordance with Airbus Helicopters documentation and FAA regulations. Perform bodywork, composite layup, painting, and balancing to ensure a quality product before returning components to service. Maintain close relationships with assigned leads regarding schedules, priorities, and availability of parts, supplies, and tools. Complete required documentation for all inspection and repair activities while ensuring work complies with customer specifications and manufacturer maintenance manuals.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience in automotive (paint & body), aerospace, composite, wood working, and or other related skill/trade
  • Trade school attendance/certification may be substituted for experience
  • SAP background
  • ASE, FAA Airframe Certificate and/or other trade related certifications
  • Less than 10% Domestic and International travel
  • Authorized to Work in the US
  • Current work authorization
  • Ability to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings
  • Ability to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms
  • Ability to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications
  • Ability to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts
  • Ability to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs
  • Ability to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs
  • Ability to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer
  • Ability to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving
  • Ability to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor
  • Ability to travel independently and at short notice
  • Ability to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces
  • Steel-toed shoes
  • Appropriate hearing/eye protection
  • Respirators/Masks
  • Protective Gloves
  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks
  • Commitment to act with integrity

Desired Qualifications

  • Trade school Experience
  • Five (5) years of automotive, aerospace, composite, woodworking, and/or other related skill/trade
  • ASE, FAA Airframe Certificate and/or other trade related certifications
