Job Summary
Set up equipment for startup and perform precision cuts to carcass while separating meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield; ensure compliance with safety and food safety policies; maintain equipment and area cleanliness; monitor production floor for debris; follow directions from Leads/Supervisors; endure long shifts (up to 12 hours on concrete) and physical requirements; training period ~2-3 months; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around machinery and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements (standing, walking, climbing)
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work around machinery and chemicals
- Must be able to perform tasks for extended periods (up to 12 hours) on concrete floors
- Must be available for 1st shift and adhere to safety and food safety policies
- Must complete tasks and follow directions from Leads/Supervisors
- Must have current or prior experience in a production/quality environment (preferred)
