Job Summary
The Blade Data Capture Specialist is responsible for conducting safe, accurate, and efficient crawler-based inspections of wind turbine blades and other infrastructure, focusing on data capture product competency. Responsibilities include data collection, safety compliance, equipment operation, and assisting with logistics and communication. Candidates must possess experience with wind turbine inspections, be willing to travel, adapt to environments, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with wind turbine inspections and complex data capture techniques
- Global Wind Organization training certifications or willing to complete courses for them
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while also meeting rigid deadlines
- Ability to adapt to different working environments
- Experience with implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs easily
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to work at heights
- Ability to work in outside environments year-round
Additional Requirements
- Includes 75%-100% domestic travel in support of operations
