Job Summary
The Blade Data Capture Specialist is responsible for conducting safe and efficient inspections of wind turbine blades using drones, ensuring precision in data capture while adhering to safety protocols. This entry-level role requires candidates to work independently in varied environments, complete training for new specialists, and communicate effectively with site contacts. Qualifications include EASA A1/A3 certification, Global Wind Organization training, multifunctional task management, and strong collaboration skills. The position also includes extensive travel and physical demands such as lifting and working at heights.
Required Qualifications
- EASA A1/A3
- Global Wind Organization training certifications or willing to complete courses
- STS (Standard Scenario) is ideal but not required
- Be able to lift 50 lbs easily
- Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Be willing to work at heights
- Able to work in outside environments year-round
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with wind turbine inspections and complex data capture techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
