Job Summary
The Blade Data Capture Specialist will conduct safe and efficient inspections of wind turbine blades using drones, adhering to stringent safety protocols and SOPs. Responsibilities include managing field data collection, operating and troubleshooting drone equipment, and effectively communicating project requirements. Candidates must hold EASA A1/A3 certification and should be willing to acquire further certifications. The role requires extensive domestic travel, ability to adapt to different environments, and strong collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- EASA A1/A3 certification
- Global Wind Organization training certifications or willingness to complete courses
- STS (Standard Scenario) certification is ideal but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs easily
- Willingness to work at heights
- Ability to work outside in various environmental conditions
- Commitment to safety and compliance

- Experience with wind turbine inspections and complex data capture techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while also meeting rigid deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and individuals
