Job Summary
Lead recruitment, outreach, and student-support initiatives for Black medical students within the Southern Medical Program. Coordinate information sessions, workshops, and admissions activities across MD Undergraduate Program pathways, provide academic and non-academic guidance to applicants, evaluate non-academic components of files, and liaise with internal teams and community partners to enhance Black student admissions, engagement, and retention in the Interior. Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment events (in-person or online), advising on course selection and financing, supporting interview activities, and participating in anti-racism and equity/diversity initiatives. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, program development, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders to support equitable access to medical education.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
