Job Summary
Generate RFQs for Body in White equipment, vet integrator proposals, and execute FAT/SAT buyoffs. Review project phases to SOP, manage on-site installation planning, and coordinate meetings to resolve manufacturing equipment design and installation issues. Develop and maintain risk assessments, create manufacturing equipment project charters, and monitor KPIs and performance dashboards. Define and implement BIW manufacturing strategies, lead process development for welding and riveting technologies, and ensure manufacturability through DFM reviews. Drive PFMEA development, Control Plans, and Standard Work creation while establishing dimensional control strategies and leading root cause analysis for assembly problems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
- Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company
- Working knowledge of MS project
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5+ years in Body in White Engineering/ Project Management experience
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Working Knowledge of Catia
- Working Knowledge of Delmia
- Possess knowledge and experience across multiple functions within product design and manufacturing
