Job Summary
Senior Director, Bitcoin Security leading Strategy’s Bitcoin Security Program. Serve as the company’s principal architect and external interface on Bitcoin security, shaping Strategy’s security posture and coordinating with cybersecurity, finance, legal, and executive leadership. Responsibilities include leading the Bitcoin Security Program, advising on Bitcoin protocol security, cryptography and key management, wallet architecture and custody strategy (including multisignature and hardware wallets), threat intelligence and emerging risks, executive and board advisory, internal education, and industry community engagement. The role is fully onsite in Tysons Corner, VA, with extensive collaboration with exchanges, custodians, asset managers, service providers, and core developers. Qualifications include advanced technical education (BS required; MS preferred), 8+ years in cybersecurity/cryptography, Bitcoin security expertise, and strong executive communication. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cryptography, Information Security, Engineering, or related field; Master’s strongly preferred
