Job Summary
The Bit Welder - Hardfacing position involves using various welding processes and equipment, including Arc, Hardfacing, and brazing. Responsibilities include welding and hardfacing components, operating safety and hand tools, examining workpieces for defects, and preparing materials for welding. Candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably two or more years of relevant experience, as well as knowledge of engineering prints and the proper use of manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Ability to work 12 hours on your feet
- 2+ years of experience in a machine shop/manufacturing facility preferred
- Knowledge in Production and Processing
- Quality Control Analysis
- Manual Dexterity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with hardfacing operations
- Experience with reading part drawings/blueprints
