Job Summary
The Bistro Barista Attendant is responsible for assisting guests in the Courtyard Bistro and Catering Outlets by promoting the Bistro, taking orders, preparing and delivering food and beverages, and adhering to health regulations. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, operating cash registers, answering menu questions, adhering to cash handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in the Bistro and kitchen areas. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of prior serving/customer service experience, and the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- One year prior serving/customer service and bartending experience required.
- Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment.
- Ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guest’s needs and complete required paperwork.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- TIPS or CARE beverage service training and certification, or the ability to obtain local certifications as required by law.
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer two or more years of previous serving and bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
