Job Summary
Energetic Bistro Attendant needed to support Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Altamonte Springs/Maitland’s Food & Beverage team. Responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guests, handling payments, maintaining the restaurant area and equipment, stocking service areas, assisting hosts with reservations and seating, describing menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Requires delivering courteous, efficient service, knowledge of wine and liquor service, and adherence to hotel specifications and service standards. Office experience with POS systems and prior guest relations training are valued; certification in liquor/wine/food service (TIPS or CARE or equivalent) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED or Work Equivalent
- Good understanding of the English language and previous guest/customer relations training
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred
- Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified, or become certified by first day on the job
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system
