Job Summary
Bistro Attendant at Courtyard/TownePlace Suites Suffolk Chesapeake assists guests by taking and delivering food and beverages, processing payments, maintaining dining areas, and supporting host duties. Responsibilities include checking IDs for alcohol service, presenting menus, answering questions about menu items, preparing drinks, garnishing dishes, stocking supplies, guiding guests on local areas, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Requires high school education or GED and certification in liquor/wine service preferred; TIPS or CARE certification preferred or achievable by first day on the job; prior POS experience and English proficiency are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified, or become certified by first day on the job
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/POS system
- Must have good understanding of the English language and previous guest/customer relations training
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred
